So.... Here goes the Muffin choco chips recipe..
Sorry for the absence of the picture. The muffin were dissapeared before I knew it.... Oh well..

200 gr all purpose flour
120 gr refined sugar
50 gr palm sugar -- I skip this, and add the same amount of refined sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
50 gr good quality of cocoa powder (me contain of 25 gr bendrof + 25 gr african noir Elmer), finely sifted

1/4 tsp good quality vanilla essence
100 gr butter, melted and leave to room temperature
150 ml milk
2 whole eggs

50 gr good quality choco chips-- 30 gr for mix, 20 gr for topping
May be added with 50 gr of various nuts

1. Preheat your oven to 190 Celcius degrees.
2. Prepare your muffin cups. I used paper muffin cups instead of muffin mold and paper cups.
3. Mix your dry ingredients in one bowl, mix it evenly.
4. Mix your melted butter, vanilla essence, eggs and milk. Whisk it evenly.
5. Pour the milk batter into the flour mixture, mix it until incorporated.
6. Add the remaining choco chips, nuts, anything you want to mix into your muffin. Fold it. Do not over beat it, just until the chips and nut evenly distributed.
7. Pour into the mold or muffin cups just about 3/4 height.
8. Put it inside the oven for about 20 mnts or so.
9. Start assembling your Chinese cup tea. :D

Boy!!

I'm not a regular blogger, am I?

At my post list, there's another 2 recipe I should've post, but still in line for one and another reason. Well.. That's should be a sign of a psychological symptom, no?

Anyhow....

I was on a VERY much mind-invasion of making the current most popular pop-cake (that's what I call it) ; Red Velvet Cake, Rainbow Cake, and last but not least The Ombre Cake..

But, no offense dear fellows baker...

I kindda see them as an art-cake. Not something that need special technique what-so-ever. Well yes the mixing technique for the Ombre coz you hafta be color differ sensitive. And you also hafta be a Miss trim - well groomed - neat baker, which is a bit away from me *grin*

But!

Hey... We are baker after all... we bake, and sweetened the world! Period! Nuf said! Haha...

Owh... So, with those attack about RVC and friends on my baking groups, so I decided to give it a try first for the Royal Red Velvet Cake.. That been said as the fave hippest cake nowadays on US as also be the fave cake for the former Talkshow Queen; Oprah.

So I bought the ingredients... including 2 medium sized of beetroot... But ended up lack of time coz I made ANOTHER food and cake instead of fighting over the RVC :D

Oh well... it still a baking activity...

So I'm making a supposed-to-be Chocochips Muffin. I said supposed to be because I later found up that I don't have enuf chocochips, no more than 37 grams of 75 grams I need.

Stop?What? Me?? Blah...

So I keep going on, using a no-mixer recipe, resulting in 12 muffins (13 actually, but I ate 1 for the sake of good fortune :D)

I forgot where I took the recipe. Whoever she is, please bless her dear Lord, as her muffin is crisp on surface, but nicely gooey inside, and such a wonderful treat for a picky eater like me!

I really wish I had more chocochips, and had a ready stock of assorted nut as it will be a beautiful addition for the recipe.

recipe and pics coming up! Stay close!!
